Barack, his wife Michelle, and their darling daughters Malia and Natasha were spotted doing some pre-Christmas sunning on the security-riddled lovely coast of Kailua, Hawaii.  And NO, we don't know where you can purchase Michelle's sensible one-piece.

American Idol runner-up David Archuleta rocked the Hollywood/Highland center as he performed a range of songs, including "Silent Night" and his hit single "Crush."

The December event benefited One Heartland, a charity that helps children suffering from HIV/AIDS with camp locations in Malibu and across the nation.

After his performance, David sounded the countdown to the tree lighting with the help of Santa Clause, who shouted, "Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukah" to the cheering crowd.

When you're friends with Kate Bosworth, you just might get a fancy Christmas present from Barney's.  We saw the blonde actress shopping there yesterday.

As an added bonus to said befriending: you will probably get to oggle her hot model boyfriend James Rousseau (also pictured shopping) face-to-face (as opposed to the normal route of drooling over photos on your monitor... that could just be us).

The only downside to this friendship, really, is keeping your mouth shut about Kate's acid wash jeans.

Yesterday, Anne Hathaway threw on some sparkly red star earrings, hooked herself into an apron, and headed to the St. Aloysius School to spread the holiday spirit.

Anne showed up for the Food Bank for New York City's program to promote healthy lifestyle habits for kids.

We love those earrings.  It's the sort of thing our first grade teacher would have worn all December long!

Sorry to go all Zsa-Zsa Gabor in that title.  Last night, a flurry of celebs arrived at Madison Square Garden for Z100's Jingle Ball.

We spotted Teyana Taylor (please educate us), Ne-Yo, Brody Jenner (why?), Chris Brown, and Rihanna with her adorable happy face fingernails and her less-than-adorable sad face to our camera.  (Rihanna's middle fingernail features a sad face.  We are beyond amused.)

Its okay, Ri.  Ashley Tisdale made up for your smile's absence by doubling up on her own.  Plus, Ashley Tisdale has the Kathy Griffin stamp of approval (as connoted by Kathy at her recent shows at the Kodak Theater), so we're thinking Ash should probably have ours as well.

The event was held at Mann's Village Theatre in Westwood, California.  Also on the red carpet?  Jen's beau John Mayer, co-star Eric Dane, Dane's Grey's co-star Katherine Heigl being way lovey dovey with her hubby Josh Kelley (as if to prove something), Courteney Cox, and even Marley the dog!

Yesterday, Suri Cruise was bundled up in an A-dorable white coat, and thick black tights as she spent the day with mama Katie Holmes.

Katie and Suri dropped by Barbara Walters' studio to film an interview for 20/20.  They also made a stop by Magnolia Bakery... 'cause they like to make us jealous/hungry.

Last night, American Idol host Ryan Seacrest was spotted amid a bevy of beauties while dining at The Ivy restaurant.  A little bird told us that, for the holidays, Seacrest is taking the lovely ladies of E! and Ryan Seacrest Productions for celebratory meals.  Is it too late to get a job at E! ?

After the meal, Ryan step out into the pap-swarmed sidewalk (um, it is The Ivy... and it is on Robertson Blvd) where one photographer presented Ryan with a gift of his own-- a Remington nose hair trimmer!  Do you think the gift was for Seacrest?  Or, was he instructed to pass it along to Simon?

Ryan shrugged it off with a smile as his internal monologue likely chimed in with, "Whatever... I sh*t money."

After all the hoopla with the bikini, and the subsequent hoopla about defending her figure, and the subsequent hoopla about dieting and exercise, and the subsequent hoopla about her weight loss, it appears that Jennifer Love Hewitt has found a happy medium (and we ain't talkin' dress size).

On Saturday, J.L. Hew and her fiance Ross McCall were spotted at the Westfield Shopping Center in Sherman Oaks.  We know how exhausting a day of shopping can be-- especially if it's holiday shopping.  So, when it came time to refill her shopping fuel tank, we say "bravo" to her choice of Carl's Jr.  Jennifer chomped into a Bacon Western Cheeseburger.  Delish!  (...and the burger looks tasty too.)

If there's ever a time to indulge in guilt foods, that time is now.

Just the other day, we found ourselves wondering, "Where in the helk did Jay Hernandez go?"

Well there he is!  Right there!  Looking super handsome and swoon-worthy at the premiere of Nothing Like the Holidays, held at Hollywoodland's Grauman's Chinese Theatre.

The film stars Debra Messing and John Leguizamo.  But, as far as last night's red carpet goes, we were most impressed by Patricia De Leon (stunning) and former Top Model Eva Pigford (even if she was wearing plaster-like foundation).

And by that, we mean she was pre-taping a segment.  Call us out for embellishing the story by using that title, but we think it's totally fair.

Last night, Britney Spears looked all kinds of lovely as she pre-taped an appearance for the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony which will take place this evening.  We are going to try to (and most likely fail to) replicate her hairstyle using our own mane.

Drake and Josh have had a good run, so we don't wanna come off like we're hatin' on them.  But c'mon.  They're no Jonas Brothers.

However, the Nickelodeon duo still have enough pull to draw out all those stars* to the world premiere of their new Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh film held ad the Landmark Theatre.  And by stars, we mean people whose names we had to look up.

In addition to Drake Bell and Josh Peck, the premiere enjoyed the likes of Victoria Justice, Keke Palmer, Miranda Cosgrove, Rachel Fox, and--brace yourself for real stardom--Tony Hawk.

But hey, Drake's jacket is kinda hip!

Kristen Bell and beau Dax Shepard enjoyed a lovey dovey date at Disneyland on Saturday.  The two shared smooches all throughout the park as they were led through the Anaheim, California grounds by a V.I.P. guide (whose job-mandated uniform makes us pity her).  The park is currently decked (halls and otherwise) out in holiday ornamentation.

However, Dax acted a little "UnDisney" when he spotted a photographer.  What can we say?  It's a small world...  Speaking of, Kristen and Dax rode that too.

This morning, Dark Hanson appeared on Good Morning America to donate coats and $10,000 (in form of jumbo check) to the Warm Coat & Warm Heart Drive.

The Jonas Brothers (Nick, Joe, and Kevin), all sported fashionable coats of their own.  Joe's plaid number, is pretty stylin'.  We think he should take off his own coat and donate it to the cause. 

Then, he should immediately find drives for his remaining articles of clothing and rid himself of those as well.  Just a suggestion...
