This time last year we were watching 'round the clock coverage of the wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton.  The couple had captivated the attention of the entire world.  Everything was perfect-- from the dress to the weather, to the rear end of the maid of honor (*wink*wink*).

Since she stepped down the aisle, Kate has become a star in her own right.  She has dazzled during her public appearances both alongside William and on her own.  Not to mention her influence on the fashion industry, becoming an icon with her elegant and timeless style.  Items which she chooses become instant must-haves and sell out within hours.

Kate's natural ease with people, calm manner and stunning smile have sparked comparisons with Princess Diana.

Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum in London unveiled the very lifelike waxwork figures of Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge today.

The statues represented the couple during their official engagement announcement at St. James Palace back in November 2010.

We've seen some pretty horrifying wax statues gone wrong over the years, and we have to say that these are two of the most realistic figures yet!

Well this is just awesome.

Princess Sparkle Hair aka Kate Middleton aka Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, gave her first public speech today at The Tree House children's hospice. She looked perfect and sparkly like always and then we realized that her mom has the same dress!  Go, Carole!

Princess Shiny Hair has been busy with her royal duties.  And she looks perfect even when she's working up a sweat. Typical.

Kate Middleton stopped by Olympic Park in London today as she met the men's and women's GB Hockey Team at the Riverside Arena and tried her hand at field hockey.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore a casual outfit for the visit, but still looked chic in coral skinny jeans.  She dressed up the outfit with heels and a blazer, but changed into sneakers and a sweatshirt when she hit the hockey field.

And boy, can that girl whack some balls!

Cross-country, that is.

Athletic Pippa Middleton will be competing in the 2012 Vasaloppet cross country skiing race, and she is taking her training seriously by hitting the slopes at a ski resort in Switzerland with her brother James and friends this past weekend.

Pippa wore a bright red ski jacket with skin tight black snow pants (hallelujah!) that showed off her scrumptious rumptious (yeah, we just made that word up).

Vasaloppet is an annual long distance ski race that stretches for 90 km (55.9 mi) in Sweden.  It is one of the oldest and longest cross country skiing races in the world.  Pippa and her brother James will be skiing to raise money for Magic Breakfast, a charity that helps to feed poverty-stricken children.  The race will be held this Sunday, March 4th.

This ain't Pippa's first ambitious feat, she is seen running on a regular basis and has participated in multiple triathalons and other races.  She also practices Pilates and plays tennis.

Here is the Duchess of Cambridge taking her Cocker Spaniel puppy Lupo out for a walk around Kensington Gardens.  He's getting into that awkward gangley puppy phase, which if there were a phase of puppy we love most it would definitely be that one.  Look at how lanky he looks!

Kate took her off day to relax and dressed down her look with some jeans and wellies.  She topped off the look with a warm coat and an Indiana Jones hat.  Hurry!  Before they all sell out!

So is everyone going to adopt Cocker Spaniels now?
