Up for some modern vintage MJ fun?
Back on September 13, 2003, the late King of Pop Michael Jackson attended a birthday party in Los Olivos, California.
Apparently, the party (with guests including Nick and Aaron Carter) burst into an impromptu cake fight. Cue music! (Yup. Gonna be in your head all day. You're welcome.)
Thank goodness the birthday boy (or girl) blew out the candles before the fight got under way lest there have been a repeat of this little disaster.

Michael Jackson Gets Cake-Faced By Carters.
In stark contrast to the recent Michael Jackson Memorial Service held at the Hollywood Hills Forest Lawn cemetery followed by almost a day of tributes and song at the LA Staples Center, the final interment of Michael Jackson's body was held in virtual secrecy, organized by brother Randy. Additionally, Jermaine Jackson recently spoke to Larry King about the family's indecision as to where his brother Michael would be buried.
On Thursday August 6, 2009, Jackson's body (now with the brain "replaced," having been removed at the time of the autopsy for additional forensic examination and testing) was finally put to rest.
Berry Gordy (legendary owner and founder of Tamla Motown records) offered a resting place to the Jackson family in his very private $2million, 18 body capacity mausoleum. There are no markings to give away it's location, even the marble inlaid "G" identifying the precise part of the cemetery has been covered by an almost 2meter diameter piece of stone. The structure overlooks a small private garden area. There are marble benches in the hallway of the crypt and a large mosaic covering one wall.
A life size statue of Jesus Christ guides the way and the poem "If" by Rudyard Kipling is carved 3 meters high in a marble slab overlooking the site.
CCTV cameras surround the property and24 hr security staff are on duty.
Although Gordy has agreed that the burial place is available to MJ forever, it may still not be the final resting place. Jackson's mother Katherine would like to have the body at the Jackson Family's Encino, CA home. However, she is not allowed by law to use the property to bury a human body.
There are also attempts to overcome local objections and turn Neverland into a kind of Graceland (Elvis) meets Disneyland which could also contain a shrine to the "King of Pop".
Michael Jackson, in life much troubled, is finally at peace. Although, it seems that controversy will follow his name for many decades-- perhaps centuries-- to come.

Michael Jackson's Resting Place Revealed!.
The sons of the late Michael Jackson are a readerly bunch, it seems.
Yesterday morning, Prince Michael, Prince Michael II (Blanket), and MJ's "honorary son" Omer Bhatti (ooooooooh juicy mystery...) paid a visit to a Barnes and Noble Bookstore.
A) Omer inducted into familial outings? Is this a new phenomenon? Or are we only just now aware of it?
and
B) What do you supposed MJ's sons ("honorary" and otherwise) are reading? And how can we join their book club? Should we solicit Oprah as a liason?
Cute EXCLUSIVE photos. Check 'em out!!

Michael Jackson Memorial Today.
Katherine Jackson appeared somber as she headed out of the Jackson Family's Encino home today. The mass of letters, posters, and bouquets from Michael Jackson's fans keeps growing.
Yesterday, we spotted Michael's father, Joe Jackson, chatting with the Reverend Jesse Jackson shortly before a press conference.

Michael's Mom Leaves Home.
Earlier today, the Reverend Jesse Jackson (no relation) held a press conference outside the Jackson Family home in Encino.
Afterward, the Reverend can be seen chatting with a thumbs up-ity/smiley face-edy/wavey to camera...idy Joseph Jackson, Michael's father. Everyone mourns in his/her own way... (Although, that one pose looks strikingly similar to this.)
Why oh why did we delete this from our DVR?
