The 19th Annual SAG Awards

The 19th Annual SAG Awards were held last night at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. This awards show is where other actors decide who's the best of the best by randomly selecting 4200 members in the union to cast their votes for the most memorable performances by their peers. Let's look at who came out on top this year!

The Sags winners list looked a lot like what we saw at the Golden Globes; Anne Hathaway won Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role; Jennifer Lawrence won the award for Female Actor in a Leading Role (and either did or didn't have a wardrobe malfunction, the jury is still out;) and no surprise the incomparable Daniel Day-Lewis won for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Lead Role.

What was a surprise was that Ben Affleck's Argo won the big award for the night, which for the SAGs is Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, which in the case of this film includes the talents of Mr. Affleck himself, Alan Arkin, Kyle Chandler, Bryan Cranston, Tate Donovan, Victor Garber and John Goodman, among others.
