When you're a 70-year-old rock legend, you can pretty much do whatever you want on New Year's Eve, and Sir Paul McCartney appeared to be doing just that as he spent the holiday in Saint Barthelemy with his wife Nancy Shevell.
We spotted Sir Paul as he and Nancy casually disembarked from a boat and headed ashore on a dock. The singer wore a turquoise baseball cap, no shoes and carried a book, seeming to enjoy a calm evening in the last hours of 2012.
