Klum Takes Her Brood to the Beach

What better way to spend New Year's Day than on a beach?  Some beaches are warmer than others...

Heidi Klum, her bodyguard boyfriend Martin Kristen, and her daughter Lou bundled up for a day on the beach in Santa Monica with a group of friends.  Martin showed little Lou the best technique to fly her kite, while Heidi kept watch over the snacks and beach toys.

Klum looked stylish in an oversized grey sweater, leather skinny pants and boots.  Not exactly beach attire, but at least she was warm!
