Only not really because she's still on probation. Informal probation, but still probation.
Lindsay Lohan emerged from court victorious today, looking every bit the changed woman in a blue pantsuit after being let off of probation for her 2007 DUI case and having her formal probation shifted to informal probation for her shoplifting case.
Lohan satisfied the terms of her 2007 arrest and is no longer required to appear in court or report to a probation officer. In the course of four months, Lohan completed 50 days of community service at the LA County Morgue and 18 therapy sessions. The informal probation only requires her to follow the law, and as long as she doesn't get in any more trouble, Linds' is a free woman.
"Stop the nightclubbing and focus on your work," Judge Stephanie Saunter advised Lohan before releasing her.
Congratulations, Lindsay. It only took you five years, two DUI's, a few trips to rehab, a handful of stints behind bars, and a stolen necklace to get it right.
