WOW! at savetheplanets comment. Who are you to tell anyone how many children they should have? Great for you that you CHOSE to adopt for whatever reason but that doesn't mean you have any business telling other people that they shouldn't have more than one possibly two children.

It's not like they're one of those couples that knocked out 18 kids. I agree that adopting children is a great thing, but I think you're griping in this case is a little ridiculous.
The (Garner-) Afflecks seem like really nice people, and I've read that they're environment-conscious ... so PLEASE STOP HAVING BABIES. The planet simply cannot sustain the population it has. If it's a son you're after, then for goodness' sake, ADOPT! There are so many needy children that other breeders could not care for. It's bad enough when unaware and uneducated people procreate excessively, but when celebrities do it, it's really unpardonable ... even though they no doubt can financially and (in this loving case, it would seem) emotionally. But it's about the carbon imprint. Please stop. One child is enough. Two in some cases (like the Afflecks) is manageable. More than that is just wrong and (probably) egotistical. Their other children (and ours, including my one adopted son) deserve to have a planet in their future.
