This afternoon, Julia Ormond joined Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger at the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles as he signed California Senate Bill 657.

The bill would "require retail sellers and manufacturers doing business in the state to develop, maintain, and implement policies related to their compliance with federal and state law regarding the eradication of slavery and human trafficking from their supply chain."

Ormond is the founder and president of ASSET, the Alliance to Stop Slavery and End Trafficking.

Actor Chris Pine brought a taste of Hipsterville, USA to Canada this Sunday.  We spotted the star strolling Vancouver in the official uniform of Silver Lake.  If he really wanted to be thorough, he would have traded walking for a thin-tired street bicycle.

Pine recently sported a different sort of "uniform" while filming This Means War with Reese Witherspoon.

Excellent!  We so enjoyed our Christmas Day viewing of Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes.

Today, the director was back at it, guiding stars Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr. on the set of the sequel which was filming near London, England.

Here's to hoping the second flick doesn't disappoint!  And here's to hoping its many many premieres involve many many A-lister prom photos.

Jennifer Love Hewitt has a new man in the form of one actor-writer-director Alex Beh.  We can hardly wait for him to do something we're indifferent to so that we can, "Beh?  Meh..."  Until that glorious day arrives...

On Saturday night, J.L. Hew and Alex landed at LAX.  Seasoned pro Hewitt used her established-celebrity-camera radar to detect our lens even before getting on the escalator.  Read: Sunglasses already on.  Alex had to play catch up, but it looks like he's a fast learner.

The next morning, Jennifer and Alex restocked her refrigerator with a trip to Gelson's (and replenished their caffeine tanks with a trip to Starbucks).  Meanwhile, we've been enjoying Alex's fancy smancy website.

Heidi Klum, hubby Seal, and their children Leni, Henry, Johan, and little Lou visited Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch on Sunday.

Papa Seal took photos of all the family fun and the group eventually left the West Hollywood pumpkin pickery with a wagon full of orange gourds!

Justin Bieber has been in Canada for all of an eye's blink and already, the headlines are pouring out.

This afternoon, Bieber was allegedly involved in an assault incident with an unidentified 12-year-old boy at Planet Lazer, Extreme Lazer Tag, in Richmond, British Columbia.  RCMP are still investigating the incident.

Bieber reportedly used the name Joe Dirt when signing a waiver to play Lazer Tag.
