Last night's MTV Video Music Awards were drenched with the Glory of Gaga.
First, Queen G strolled the white carpet in her signature McQueen armadillo shoes. Lady Gaga brought along a classy military escort.
Later in the press room, her poofy dress was swapped out for a frock made of meat. If host Chelsea Handler (jokingly) apologized to PETA for something so tame as the use of a dove in the opening number, then we're curious what the organization's take on Gaga's flesh dress would be.

Gaga deserves her awards. When I visited a friend, we looked at peer to peer music downloads. His worldwide Top 10 can measure up to a Billboard list.
No.1, Lady Gaga with over half a million requests for her top item. She also took places 4, 5, 8, and 10.
No 2: Tatu, 225.000. A surprise.
No 3: Steve Miller Band, 166.000. Popular.
No 6: Shakira.
No 7: Buckethead.
No 10: Anna Nalick (proof of what a soundtrack can do).
High scorers: J.J. Cale, Suzanne Vega, Fergie, Little Feat, 10.000 maniacs, Gabriella Cilmi.
Also noteworthy: Santana, Dido, Katie Melua (can't stand that voice, but hey), Brandy, Cecile Corbel, Amy Winehouse, Timbaland, Sade, Can (old school German krautrock), Sheryl Crow, Jennifer Lopez, Michelle Branch, Spandau Ballet, Hilary Duff.
Rap: Gangstarr. For the women: Brick & Lace.
Top Jazz: Diana Krall. For the men: Cuban stuff.
Many scored lower than one might expect. Example: Stevie Wonder, 6000.
