Today, Mary Steenburgen was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, bringing another into the "it's about time" category for the month of December.

In case you've forgotten, Mary has won an Oscar and a Golden Globe.  She has also been nominated for an Emmy and a BAFTA.  Plus, she's married to Ted Danson (present), so that's kind of a trophy of a different sort, yeah?

Mary's family and friends came out to show their support, including Laura Dern, Larry David, and Diane Lane and perma-handsome Josh Brolin.

We didn't think things could get weirder but, apparently, they can.

Then again, we're talking about Russell Brand.  So really, this doesn't come as a shock.

If things keep progressing in strangeness, should we expect to see Russell hitting the gym tomorrow with a set of these on his gams?

Roy Edward Disney, nephew of Walt Disney, died today in Newport Beach, California of complications from stomach cancer.  He was 79.

Disney was vice chairman of The Walt Disney Company and ultimately had a great impact on the direction the company took, an advantage from being born only two years after Mickey Mouse.  He helped oversee production of several films including The Lion King.

Our thoughts are with his family and all Disney fans young and old today.

Today, Amanda Seyfried looked stunning on the set of Letters to Juliet, filming nearby Battery Park.

If she's freezing, she's certainly not showing it.  Perhaps she's keeping warm by letting thoughts of this run through her mind.  On that note... is it suddenly hot in here?

This morning, Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted, once again, escorting son James Wilke to school.
