Bryce Dallas Howard was roaming around Hollywoodland today sporting a more saturated red and some freshly sheered bangs.  We're going to assume all that's gotta be finagled under a wig if she's going to have this hair in half a month.

Between covering Kristen's Runaways mullet, elongating Lautner's regular cut, and now camouflaging Bryce's bangs, Eclipse is shaping up to be wig-tastic.

Huh.  Wonder what Rachelle Lefevre is up to today.  Rehearsing for Eclipse Brooding, perhaps?

Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief is being touted as the next Harry Potter-esque extravaganza.

However, we're going to spend a little time aligning it with Twilight.

Why?

1) Shooting in Vancouver
2) Cast chock full of guitar players (ahem and ahem)
3) One degree of separation via Pierce Brosnan

We recently spotted director Chris Columbus and guitar-toting cast members Logan Lerman, Alexandra Daddario, and Brandon T. Jackson up in Canadialand as they're gearing up for the shoot... or some sort of guitar concert.

Upside?  These A-dorable photos of Kate Hudson and son Ryder Robinson having an "awwww"-worthy interaction with a puppy dog this morning.

Kate and Ryder were out for a stroll through NYC when that little white ball of fluff tried its best to wriggle its way into the Hudson household.

C'mon, Kate.  Only $200 and an endless supply of clean-up duties!

Apparently, the Rossdale-Stefani gene pool is ideal for breeding two things-- 1) musical talent and 2) kick a** abs.  So, good for you, Kingston and Zuma.  You're genetically predisposed for awesomeness.

The latter of these qualities was paraded around in public yesterday as Gwen and Gavin took their boys for a day of seaside fun at St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort and Spa in Dana Point, California.

You know, Gavin, sand holds no magical de-shirting qualities.  Feel free to strip down when you're running around on the lawn, or buying produce, or wherever, really...

Awww.  Jessica Alba and tobly?... babler?  (it's like the periods between baby/toddler) Honor Marie Warren wore matchy matchy headbands this afternoon.

We spotted mom and daughter heading in for a hearty breakfast at The Griddle Cafe on Sunset Blvd. 

And yes.  Oreos do belong in pancakes.
