SJP Welcomes Twinsies

Kimmy Gabbler: 06/23/2009

The surrogate mother of Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick gave birth last night to twin girls.  SJP and Broderick named the little bundles Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge.

Congrats!

Much Lautner

Purple People Eater: 06/23/2009

Looky look!  It's our favorite proper wolf, Taylor Lautner.

Here he is igniting a cacophony of screams as he made his way into (and then graced the stage of) the 2009 MuchMusic Video Awards.

We're told the MuchMusic Awards are kinda like Canada's version of the MTV Awards... but after seeing Taylor, and knowing these dudes were present, we suspect it might actually just be a rally where Canadian tweens can get together and go deaf/mute en masse.

More Jonas (This Time, With Fewer Crotch Shots)

Purple People Eater: 06/23/2009

Not nearly as awkward as the last JoBros performance we caught.  But, for those of you who enjoy a good Dark Hanson fix, these pics are better late than never.

The Brothers Jonas (Joe, Nick...         ... Kevin) performed in Toronto the other evening at the 2009 Much Dramz Much Music Awards.  So, Canadian tweens, was it everything you chastely dreamed it'd be?

RIP Ed McMahon

Kimmy Gabbler: 06/23/2009

Former "Tonight Show" personality Ed McMahon passed away early this morning at UCLA Medical Center.  He was 86.

McMahon's health had been failing steadily over the past year.  He also was having financial troubles but he kept a good sense of humor about his situation.  He poked fun at himself in the 2009 Superbowl commercial for Cash 4 Gold.

His career spanned over 50 years.

Demi, Girls, and Guards Visit Louvre

Purple People Eater: 06/23/2009

This morning, Demi Moore took daughters Scout and Tallulah to visit the Louvre Museum.  They're there.  Really.  They're just being all stealthy and Olsen-like in the background.

Good on Demi for making sure her offspring get their fill of culture.  Also, good on Demi for getting her fill of this.

Clooney Pulls a Pitt

Purple People Eater: 06/23/2009

Today, George Clooney got his endorse on.

Now Brad Pitt isn't the only Ocean's alum we've spotted $hooting commercial$ (here and here).

Today, Clooney charmed his way around the Milan set of a Nespresso commercial.  The spot co-stars hottie Martina Panagia.  Rose McGowan was also spotted randomly visiting the set.

We assume the ad will be in Italian, but, not unlike Mathematics, Handsome transcends language barriers.
