saw an interview with candy spelling recently where she said she had never met one (both?) of her grandchildren. writing this kind of book is vengeful and a disgrace. everyone has 'issues' with their childhood. tori spelling needs to "deal with it" as they say. but to publicly put down her own mother won't win her any sympathy imho. quite the opposite. as to her looks, no, she didn't win the gene pool lottery. though through surgery, she's attempted to make the best of a bad situation.
