I know many people think Hewitt must be Harry's dad, but I saw some pictures of Prince Philip when he was young and there was a strong resemblance. It surprised me. In fact, I thought Harry might have taken his features, plus the coloring of Diana's brother, which SL posted as well. So although Di had the affair with Hewitt, I think Harry is probably really Charles' after all. At any rate, he's HOT.

After reading and digesting the many and varied comments in relation to Prince Harry, I feel obliged to ask what business it is of anyone to judge how he spends his own money on holiday, canoodling or otherwise.
As an officer in the British Army I'm sure his salary more than covers a day on the beach! Monies received from the British taxpayer via the Civil List are to cover direct expenses for any Royal duties undertaken. As Charles Prince of Wales pays more in taxes to the Treasury from earnings through the Duchy of Cornwall than he receives through the Civil List, and both Princes William and Harry have full careers in the British Military, I feel assured the arguments about them all being a drain on the Nation are overplayed.
The benefits far outweigh the costs.
On a further point, the British Monarchy is the root and branch of the entire Parliamentary system of government and justice.
Two houses of Parliament, one lower (the Commons or House of Representatives), one higher (the Lords or Senate), and a Monarch (independent with overall power of governmental dissolusion), or a President (blown by the winds of political ineptitude).
Monarchy is above politics and all the better for it.
As for the Americans saving the world from the Nazis, surely that honour must lie with the tripartite alliance between the US, Britain and Russia. If Russia under Stalin hadn't played its part to the full in halting the relentless march of the Third Reich, and the resolve of the British wasn't tested to the limit, then the Americans arriving late for the second half of the war would have been totally ineffectual.

Britons might say that Americans have "no history," but they are wrong: American history prior to independence *is* British history. Americans might say that the British monarchy is arbitrary or tyrannical, but the British and Commonwealth constitutions are thoroughly democratic. To be blind to the voluminous and manifold similarities and compatibilities between our respective cultures is an even greater testament to meanness and ignorance than the unnecessary and stupid use of vulgar, deliberately inflammatory language.
