Coop! There He Is!

Purple People Eater: 11/24/2008
On Sunday, we spotted TV journalist Anderson Cooper with an unknown traveling companion  as he headed out of LAX, passport in hand, screen printed declaration across chest.

Cooper once confessed that he liked to unwind from a long day of serious reporting by watching a snippet of mindless television, a la Living Lohan.  But, with the show now off-air, how will the CNN charmer decompress?

Might we suggest he spend the evening perusing the goss' right here at BauerGriffinOnline.  It'd be a nice 180 from his regular 360...

CNN will give him whatever he wants, they don't want to lose him. He has a big fan base and is pretty much the 'face' of the network - he gets CNN a lot of attention and his boss Jon Klein has a man-crush on him. Or at least that's how it seems. I agree that his odd laugh is a thing of beauty.

You got it. Anderson Cooper has it all - he does as he pleases. And announcing his gayness is not one of them.

Looks like he is renewing with CNN - betchya with a hefty pay raise too.

a boatload of money I will certainly never see.

What's the point of coming out when he's having the time of his life? Obviously he enjoys the same things any gay err man enjoys? And yes, it's not just about the boy-toys but also a slew of stuff that any gay man wants. It is his life and where he is now, it certainly sounds like a happy comfort zone for him.

I certainly would be happy too if I lead my life as a CNN honcho, travel the world in Hublot's time donning Zegna's, among other what-have-you's-of-AC's. Top that with being single with no commitment! Why then would I need to be out? Spells like: I envy... but in my perspective, that seemed to be where he is in many gay man's eye.

Guess we enjoy outing him for our individual agenda which unfortunately is different from his. Way to go AC!

Continue to amuse us that signature laughter ah-ha aha aha LOL! That's just a turn on.

Who doesn't know by now that he's gay? No announcements needed. One day he might loosen up, but the more people have "demanded" that he come out and called him cowardly, the more he's dug in his heels and stayed quiet. He does what he wants and apparently doesn't care what anyone thinks about him not talking about his sexuality.

I agree, Hank. And on Letterman he can tell a personal story about how his mother blew him off on Thanksgiving -that would have hurt me had my mother done that.

Andy needs to stop with the childish behavior he's 41 and got to keep everything a secrect, fuck that! He can talk about his Father's death, Brother's suicide and all of the "Lavender" shows he likes but can't say if he's gay or not... must be stressful having to be so secretive. A shame really.. Multi-Millionare and worried about people knwoiung he's gay after all he's been through in his life, this he's a afraid of? *shakes head*

Anderson's still alive and well, so they obviously didn't raise any red flags over there.

Two gays in Egypt - isn't that a Muslim country? Where being gay can get you killed?

Since these latest pictures have been released, he's going to start being more careful RIGHT NOW. Personally, I wish he'd just hang loose and do whatever the hell he wants with Cesar in public. He's not required to explain anything.

Doubtful he will ever come out after CNN. Maybe he will just be less careful about taking Cesar out in public.

Oh, gee, Anderson, even all the girls know you are gay and they don't have a chance with you - so out with it!
It won't hurt your ratings!

It's time to dispense with the "inching out" and just bust down that closet door for good Anderson!

By the time Anderson told Kathy where he was, he certainly knew these picture of him and Julio were all over the internet.

I'm guessing he may have even told her on purpose knowing she wouldn't keep it a secret. Like what does it matter now, people know about Julio and they were off together. Inching out.

It's Kathy Griffin. By now everybody knows that you only share information with her if you are OK with it being told to the whole world.

Matty says:

According to Kathy Griffin Anderson was in Egypt, I guess he didn't mind her telling his business on national tv that way.

Whew! I could take any one of them. Imagine the fun they shared.
