Leave her be, she's a naturally beautiful girl who happens to be travelling low maintenance - I for one find it refreshing and admire her confidence. And for the record, just because her little one is walking, it doesn't mean she's not entitled to focus on other things besides lipstick for the time being - as the Mum of a toddler myself, there are days when it all comes together just fine (the yummy mummy days) and then there are plenty of others where simply remembering your passport would be an achievement!!
women in their 30s go through a frump phase. it is a way of saying " i have arrived," i.e., they are married and have children. i guarantee when she's 45 she won't be wearing that ugly outfit no more, cuz she'll be trying to prove how young and attractive she is....
No you can't use I just had a baby excuse if the baby is already walking.
