While the French used to celebrate Bastille Day by storming a prison and cutting off the mayor's head with a pocketknife, they've calmed down in recent centuries. Fireworks schmireworks.
On their last night in Paris, Jake Gyllenhaal, squeeze Reese Witherspoon, and her daughter Ava Elizabeth grabbed dinner at Andre Allard. After the meal, they headed out into the masses to watch the fireworks near the Eiffel Tower. Ava had the best seat in the crowd-- Jake's shoulders!
It's great to see Reese happy and to see Jake blending so seamlessly into her (and her daughter's) life!
