Hugh Jackman: Wolverine Dad

"Go away, you hairy monster! You're not my daddy!"

That's what we imagine Hugh Jackman's kids said when they first saw him in his stylized 'Wolverine' beard.

We spotted the actor hanging out with his family while on break from filming the latest X-Men installment, due out in theaters next year.

His kids obviously got over their initial fright as we saw Jackman, his wife Deborra-Lee Furness, their son Oscar and daughter Ava frolicking around Centennial Park on Sunday in Sydney, Australia, for a birthday party.

While there the Aussie family tossed a baseball around, hit a pinata and played on the jungle gym.

We even caught little Oscar plastering patches of grass on his face to be just like his daddy. Yes, you can get grass stains on your face.
