Since the tragic death of her baby daddy Heath Ledger four months ago (almost to the day), Michelle Williams has laid low... until now.
She made an unexpected visit to Cannes on Friday in honor of the Charlie Kaufman film she is in Synechdoche, New York.
She first stopped off at a photo call for the film with cast mates Samantha Morton, Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Catherine Keener. Then she made her way down the red carpet, dressed in a ruffled electric blue gown with a simple black bow.
We think her timing couldn't have been better. Welcome back, Michelle!
