Haha, these little debates on here are so humorous...first off- Brad and Angelina are on vacation with their children...I don't believe they phoned up the papz and invited them for a little private photo session on the beach...no matter where this family goes they will be followed...so is that PR'ing your kids out to the media? No- it's more like attempting to live your life and ignore the cameras...they cannot stay indoors 24/7 to appease people on here who believe that every time they set foot out of the privacy of their home they are begging the papz to photograph them and their children...and lastly, Shiloh is only 2...2 year olds need naps...I don't even have children and I know that much...so all the "hate Shiloh" remarks are pointless and ungrounded...unless you live in their home 24/7 to examine their parenting skills, then I would say you don't know how they treat each child...

Which leads me to this even more laughable claim that they mistreat their adopted children, should have left them in their home country, they only donate money for press and publicity and on and on...first, none of us knows why they chose to adopt Maddox, Zahara and Pax...maybe they're good people, maybe they're the modern day Joan Crawford...since there is no evidence to prove or disprove their motives, I say give them the benefit of the doubt...also, if she would not have adopted Maddox from Cambodia, he could have remained homeless and forced to beg in the streets or even be exposed to child trafficking (which has been a common problem in Cambodia)...Pax was in an orphanage...his mother was still alive and his grandparents, but his mother was a drug addict who abandoned him at birth and his grandparents had not made an effort to take him home to raise (they probably couldn't afford a child financially)...and Zahara was suffering from malnutrition and other infant related diseases...when Angelina adopted her, the adoption agency and people she worked with in country told her Zahara's mom had died of AIDS...I believe they have even shown where Zahara's grandmother lied on the documents and also claimed her daughter was dead...Zahara required immediate medical treatment which was unavailable in Ethiopia...so based on people's standards here, she should have thrown some change at Maddox in Cambodia, left Pax in an orphanage and given Zahara's grandmother some cash to feed her while leaving Zahara to her medical illnesses and diseases (which would not be treated in Ethiopia with little to no cash or proper medical care)...

Do we know why they adopted these three children? Absolutely not...but regardless, Maddox, Pax and Zahara will receive a better life...they have been given the opportunity to receive an education, be raised with freedom and equal rights...plus exposed to the beauty of this great world...I can't fault either Brad or Angelina in their adoptions (especially since there's no evidence to prove mistreatment or lack of love or care)...

The last thing debated on here was the money they donate to charity...whether it is being done authentic or not...like the adoption issue, none of us knows the motives for their charitable work...all I can say in relation to it is the fact that the money they have provided has bettered the lives of many people...even if it's donated for PR, that money has provided hope and care to those in need and I can't fault them...Angelina has fequently traveled as a UN ambassador for UNHCR and on many of her trips, she has kept her travel quiet to avoid the media or press...and Brad's project in New Orleans is providing homes to victims of Katrina...while you can easily sit behind a computer screen and point fingers and find fault, I wonder how many of you are making an effort to help those in need? Do you also donate 1/3 of your income and volunteer to work at homeless shelters, local charities? Unless you are also walking the walk in relation to adoption or charity work, then I would say you have no right to judge...after all, they are human beings and they deserve to be respected as such...as do their children who are unable to speak up for themselves or defend the ruthless and horrific lies printed about them daily...

How was Angelina supposed to give money to Zahara's alleged Mother when she was dead, according to the Ethiopian authorities? Why, because Zahara's alleged Grandmother went to the court and swore Zahara's parents were dead. That is what Angelina was told. Even the alleged Grandmother admitted doing it in 2005 and taking 3 or 4 members of the community to swear that her daughter was dead. We don't know if those people are really Zahara's family because they were paid by the UK and USA tabloids for their "stories." When Angelina left Ethiopia Zahara was her child, by law, and when they arrived in the United States Zahara became an citizen of the U.S. automatically because she had been legally adopted internationally by an American citizen.

I appauld them, nobody wants the children they have adopted (esp. Zahara) and I think it's wonderful that they will open their home to other children. Even if the do it for publicity (which I don't) then maybe other couples or people (Madonna, Mary-Louise Parker) will adopt children because they think its cool or want to be like them. It doesn't matter cause the child still gets adopted. I'm not crazy about both of their acting careers but Maddox (could have been begging for food or digging through garbage), Pax (mother was a drug addict), and Zahara (damn near dead) has reaped the benefits and they get a superb education, get to live, be a normal kid, and go on fabulous vacation. I have always been a huge fan of adoption. As for the internationally-adopted children, who are we to say what's best for them? Maybe each one of them will grow up with privileges; not just money and travel, but being exposed to some of the best educations, and the most powerful people, and maybe each of them will then use the resources and knowledge they gain to go and improve the countries of their birth! As for growing up in a multi-national, multiracial family, I've known others who grew up in families like this, and it really gave them a sensitivity to what is really going on in the world that many don't have. KUDOS Angelina, and to Brad for joining in on her vision.
