Will Lindsay Lohan Do It Missionary-Style?

Tim K: 04/16/2008 5:13 PM
Since Lindsay Lohan–seen here lunching with her buddy Sam (nice hat, bro) at Joan's on Third in Los Angeles—has displayed such firm control over her own life, it only makes sense that she should want to reach out and help others follow in her footsteps.

Lindsay's father, Michael, told In Touch magazine today that Lindsay has signed up for an upcoming missionary trip with Times Square Church Missions. "Lindsay's very spiritual," Pa Lohan added. "She has a wonderful heart, loves people and is very charitable."

Well, maybe not; according to Lindsay's rep, the story isn't true.

So which Lohan is to be believed?

It's a tough call. On one hand, Michael seems like the type who would eat a puppy on live TV if it meant exposure. On the other hand, we really have to wonder if Lindsay can remember what she's signed up for from one day to the next at this point, so maybe she did agree to go.

So we're just going to revel in the image of Lindsay being cooked by cannibals in a huge pot of boiling water, like they used to do to the missionaries in the old-time movies.
