I guess they were a happy accident for you considering how much you are going to make off them but it doesn't look to me that even in the presence of his daughter, Mapother IV was having a happy time. As for kids not playing together or that they only play alongside, Suri Cruise is doing neither. She is not playing with the kids nor is she playing by herself. While in the midst of other adults and kids, she is just standing there watching them as if she just got to another planet and had no idea what was happening and was wondering about it all. If you consider standing and starring at the camera or pointing at something yonder as playing by herself then may I suggest you get out more. And perhaps OK magazine that will be carrying this should be told about how kids of 2 "don't play together" so they never make the mistake.
Fact is that it is hard to find anything heartwarming in this pictures, they may as well have been enclosed in a block of ice. Maybe if Mapother IV pretended to be happy to be there, there may have been something of a spark.

It seems as if it could be late afternoon or early evening from those pics. There are not many people/kids in that park.
It is wholly possible that he decided to make a quick stop there on their way home from somewhere else. There would be no need to worry about the dress/ shoes then. They'd be going home afterward.
It was obviously a quick stop and not a planned day at the park.............Things like having to make unscheduled stops for parks and interesting things happen all the time. Many parents can relate.

I have no idea whether its staged or not...nor do any of you. As far as the dress thing goes, do any of you HAVE 2 year old little girls? Or kids at all? My little girl LOVES to wear her "piddy desses" ("pretty dresses") everywhere. I unfortunately cannot afford to let her go to the park in them, but if I had all the money that the Cruise family has, I'd let my daughter wear fancy dresses to the park too if she wanted. I have a friend that told me she was at the park that day. She said that KH was also there but was standing back with the cameras and that is why you see tc and suri looking over that way. Infact Suri wanted “mommy come play too” and that was another reason that they were walking that way.
She said it was tc’s peeps taking the pics. They cleared the park and let only people that suri was familiar with into the area. Makes total sense, for security reasons.
Then tc released the pics to the tabs as a way to control what would be put out there.

Libraeque, I have been reading your comments from this blog and the TOMKATCRAZY blog and I think your comments are right on. I really think Cruise KNOWS his image is badly damaged and the problem is that he has a movie Valkiere coming in October. If things don't change for him that movie will also BOMB the way Lions for Lambs and Mad Money bombed. I think Cruise was ISOLATED from reality and somehow has gotten a hold of how things are and now KNOWS his image is badly damaged.
With pictures like him and Suri walking in the park are only his way to restore his badly damaged image. I think the only way to do this is by using poor little Suri (again) to make him look like a caring dad (and have women, soccer moms, etc a BIG demographic back in his corner). I doubt this will happen.
The tide has CHANGED for Cruise only he didn't realize how much until recently. I think with celebrities like him the "handlers" try to shield bad gossip or publicity from him. But somehow someone informed him that the public has turned on him and Katie. Suri is still "adorable and innocent" in the public's eyes and they will both try and leverage that to their own advantage.
However, in Hollywood, there are so many up and coming studs and actresses that you really have to be exceptional to overcome missteps. Cruise is so narcisstic and conceited that he thought he could actually talk, lead, people into this devastating, destructive cult and get away with it. He went too far and has past the point of no return. His glory days are behind him.
Carla, Suri has been to the park. Remember when Katie took her to that park in Germany (where Katie is wearing those Roland wide pants, another photo op). Katie put Suri down and she ran this way and that way. Suri even fell on the pathway. There are videos of that outing on Splash online. I don't think Suri interacts with a lot of children her own age and so they are a novelty to her. She is clearly being raised very isolated because the people she can surround herself with must be Scientologists. And so that limites a big chunk of the population. And so in that regard they probably keep her at the Celebrity Center where maybe there are more kids (but I doubt it) because that's where the minions work and they probably want Suri socializing with Scientology kids and those of her socioeconomic background.
I feel very bad/sad for this child. She is a cutie but will be doctrinated as a full fledged Scientologist.
And an interesting observation by one of the blogger, Suri's diet is closely watched (which is a good thing) and she probably doesn't go outside a lot because she is very pale, no sun tan on her.
Hopefully she doesn't grow up to have a "poor little rich girl" story like Barbara Hutton, Princess Stephanie, Christina Onnasis, etc. daughters of millionaires, billionaires, who had all the material goods at their feet but found it hard to find true love or a purpose for living. And ended up being used and abused by their husbands and handlers.

Suri is amazingly adorable! I think they dressed up as they just dropped by the park on their way to/from somewhere in formal occasion.
Oh, Suri's been to other parks, but she's instructed not to play like the other normal kids do. She wants to, though. They are making her weird. They deliberately dress her up so that she isn't allowed to play and dirty her finery. Poor thing. I think in the picture where she is bent over in the sand, she is doing that because she is taking a tantrum, and that is what has made Tom uneasy. She wants to act and be like a kid, but he won't let her, so she gets upset in order to try and get her way. Instead of telling her no, he probably lies to her. And if Katie is standing next to the photographer, then she is just as crazy as Tom.
I worked at a high-end day care center and I can say from experience that rich families DO dress their children in clothes that the rest of us middle class folks find to be super fancy and out of place for the occasion. I think that the Cruises dress their daughter in expensive clothes because they can. And if they get ruined by the dirt, they can buy her new ones. I wouldn't say theres anything wrong with that. If you've got the money... Also, most of these rich familes that attended this day care were not picky about weather or not they got dirty. One man's expensive toddler outfit is anothers beatin' around the town outfit.

I was at the park the first time he came by (he came by twice).
He arrived unannounced, no wife, clearly stopping by after some kind of appointment. He was really nice to all of us in the park (there were only 5 or so), chatting and talking of kids.
Nothing was staged. He was really nice. And no, we're none of us Scientologists.
The second time he came, I wasn't there, but our 'crowd' said that he left quickly because the photogs were getting in the way of his kid's fun.
No drama. He just left.
Kind of banal, but that's usually what the truth is.

I think some of the stupid mothers don't have any common sense, regardless of having money to burn. Remember when Katie dressed Suri in an expensive white dress, when she took her to Color Me Mine? WHat kind of fun is it when a child is not allowed to run and jump and play and get dirty, because she is all dressed up, but she is taken to a play ground anyway? She is expected to follow daddy around like a puppy dog? Daddy won't even let her go two feet away from him. He aparently controls her every movement. No, stupid is as stupid does. If they really stopped at the park for her sake, they could have changed her into play clothes and let her be a real child.

How is the kid suppose to know she is in a fancy dress? You are so retarded...She could have played if she wanted to, maybe she is just shy around strangers and she follows Tom around because he is her secure base.

They take her out shopping and touring even though she is sleepy and should be in bed napping. She is treated like a barbie doll, dressed and posed and placed in situations against her will. She is pale, underweight, and doesn't get outside in the sunshine like she should. SHe's always seen holding two nursing bottles, a blanket, sleeping on her mother's chest, dark circles and bags under her eyes, taking tantrums and screaming, and always carried.

Suri did not look like she wanted to leave the park. She looks like she is giving Tom a hard time. Who took the photos? Was it the pap? How did they know they were going to go to the park? Maybe these photos were taken so they would stop counting how many days Suri has not been seen. If I was famous I would definitly keep my kids from the public.

Anyway, I think that Tom was giving Suri a hard time. He brings the kid to a play ground and won't even let her play. That's like them going to a restaurant and are not allowed to eat. THen he gets nervous because the kid is doing her kid thing by taking a tandrum in the sand. God forbid if she gets her $500. dress dirty. Oh my! He could have sent one of his servants to get jeans and a shirt for the kid to change into.

As intriguing as the conversation is - I believe you will all find that some of the pictures are mirrored. Not only does Toms watch change hands, the bow on Suri's dress swaps sides too.
Also my little girl has lots of beautiful dresses (alot were gifts from the UK) and I believe in letting her get as much wear out of them as possible. No point having an expensive dress that gets worn once then grown out of. She wears her pretty dresses to the park, the beach, playgroup, the shopping centre - sometimes even just at home.
The photos are only "mirrored" on the main, compilation image. This was done to keep the page clean/adhere to basic design principles.
You can see in the gallery, that the photos used in the collage image have not been flipped/mirrored.

Some girls are pretty and they like to get dresses up that way..some girls arent that sporty type..and when you have millions you tend to spend a $1400 or so to go to a park and you make sure the kid looks good. It happens. Scien...may be a fucking cult but I guess Katie is real and Suri is a normal child..whats weird with the child? And BTW, the watch doesnt matter here...
Does anyone else think Suri is autistic? She has that gorgeous serene quality most autistic girls do.
My daughter looked just like her at that age. She had the same look of disconnect that I see in Suri's eyes.
The reason Suri didn't want to go play had nothing to do with her wacky parents. It's because she was not interested in the playground. Most autistic kids are pretty self absorbed at this age, and literally need to be taught how to play.
Suri being autistic would be very interesting. Jett Travolta is autistic, yet John Travolta denies it, as autism is considered a weakness by the cult of Scientology.
I hope that if Suri IS autistic, tom and Katie run as far and fast as they can from the cult, and get her the help she needs!
