When most of us leave a nightclub, our wallets feel a little lighter.
Not Paris Hilton and Benji Madden.
The pair dropped in at the Mahiki club in London last night, but this was no casual hang-out. Paris reportedly received 70,000 British pounds for the appearance, which in American dollars translates to... uhh....
Well, math's not our strong suit, but it's a lot. It's definitely enough to buy a jacket that doesn't make you look like you're starring in some retarded science-fiction movie being made by fifth-graders. (What's up with that thing, Paris? Are you wearing moon-boots too?)
Huh; maybe Paris is saving the cash for a surgical procedure to have her trampishness removed. Money well spent, we'd say.

i dunno, maybe its cuz im not rich and famous, but i never understood the balance of power and money amongst our civilization. the average population is struggling just to keep financially stable, and many cant even do that, no matter how hard they work. yet if your super rich and famous, you never even have to spend money. you get paid just to go places, talk to people, and have conversations about your life. add that to the fact that the 'celebrity' is considered the powerful upper class. how is it that ignorant, selfish, high school dropouts end up being our idols and representations of what we are supposed to be and how we are supposed to act? is money really that important?
well.....i guess so....
