When he's playing Sex and the City's Mr. Big, Chris Noth doesn't come across as particularly bashful.
Elusive, mysterious, and with bedroom eyes to die for? Yes. Bashful? No.
So we're not sure why he tried to shield himself from the photogs' lenses with his copy of the New York Times after enjoying a cup of joe at Peet's Coffee & Tea on Sunset Boulevard.
Maybe he's trying to avoid revealing upcoming story lines on Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
Then again, it was sunny out, and he didn't seem to have any shades, so perhaps he was just trying to protect those dreamy, droopy-lidded peepers.
Or could it be that he didn't want to talk about working with the World's Unsexiest Woman, according to Maxim magazine?
Yeah, we're guessing that's probably it.
