We like the giant poster behind them that reads, "Scorcese, Stones." It makes us imagine that Martin Scorcese has joined the band. Are we the only ones who would like to see Marty up on stage, rocking out with the best of them? We'd like to throw his unenthused fashion in with the Rolling Stones' signature mess of leather and handkerchiefs.
PLUS, below the aforementioned "Scorcese, Stones" is "IMAX." YES! We have dreamed about it for years. And, thanks to Martin Scorcese, our long-held DREAM of seeing Keith Richards' raisin-y face on a 50-foot high screen is FINALLY COMING TRUE!
We're done on the caps now. Really. But, Shine a Light sounds pretty cool. Apparently, Scorcese followed the legendary band around for two days in the Fall of 2006 while the Stones played the intimate Beacon Theater in NYC.
The film's premiere brought out some unexpected appearances, including new mom Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony, singer Vanessa Carlton, designer Tommy Hilfiger, actress Michelle Yeoh, and more!
