In Too Depp?

Christine Michele: 01/07/2008 2:59 PM
It sure looks like Heath Ledger is trying to position himself as the next Johnny Depp. The increasingly eccentric-looking actor is seen here on the London set of Monty Python alum/quirky director Terry Gilliam's latest project, the fantasy flick "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus," co-starring model Lily Cole and Verne "Don't call him Mini-Me" Troyer. With those striped socks and purple knit cap, we can only hope he's in costume. You know, Johnny Depp was in Gilliam's failed film "The Man Who Killed Don Quixote." Could Heath be to Terry what Johnny is to Tim Burton?

LOL . . . nope, he's not in costume. Those are his own clothes. Yeah, sure most people couldn't pull it off, but isn't he just darling?!?! LOVE the leg-warmers. :P
