It was just reported that, on Monday, Grey's Anatomy star Justin Chambers had checked himself into UCLA's Medical Center. The actor, and father of 5, entered the facility voluntarily citing exhaustion, possibly stemming from a sleeping disorder. Lucky for Justin, he checked out on Thursday, just in time to miss the Britney chaos. Looks like UCLA Med Center isn't big enough for two stars!
On January 15th, Justin's wife, Keisha Chambers, was spotted exiting an Al Anon meeting with Justin's former co-star Kate Walsh.
We hope Justin got (and that Britney gets) all the help he needs.

UCLA Med Center - Two's a Crowd.
Eric Dane dashes across Third Street after grabbing a bite at Joan's on Third. Everybody's second-favorite fake doctor shares not only a similar nickname with his Grey's Anatomy co-star, Patrick Dempsey, but also his taste in cars. Although Eric's Porsche is less flashy than Patrick's, at least it matches his hair.

Dane's on Third.
British heartthrob Orlando Bloom zipped around LA yesterday in a black Audi S6 V10. The "Pirates of the Caribbean" star was dressed all in black, matching his ride, which retails at $72,000. The actor has been laying low as of late, but is scheduled to be a presenter at England's BAFTA Award ceremony (the British equivalent of the Oscars) on February 10. Many stateside actors are crossing the pond for the ceremony, so they can wear their Oscar duds on at least one red carpet next month!

The pair is in the Big Apple taking part in "Broadway Backwards 3," a concert benefiting NY's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Community Center. The two are performing a duet on stage for the first time together (David met Neil on the set of "HIMYM," when he guest-starred on the sitcom). No word on what they're still singing, but please guys, give "Dreamgirls" tunes a break, please?

Grauman's Chinese Theater hosted the LA premiere of the new action-adventure flick "Fool's Gold" last night and the red carpet resembled a treasure chest full of stars. Stars Matthew McConaughey, accompanied by his pregnant girlfriend, Brazilian model Camila Alves, and Kate Hudson, looking more and more like mom Goldie Hawn every day brought a golden glow to the Hollywood night. The film's co-stars, Donald Sutherland, Malcolm Jamal-Warner and Alexis Dziena also attended the screening of the flick, which will begin the hunt for "box office booty" tomorrow.

Model and actress Brooke Burke, also on the long list of Hollywood's expectant mommies, takes time out for a little pampering at Polish in Brentwood, California with an also-expecting friend. The beautiful Brooke, who's expecting baby number 4 (her second with French-born actor David Charvet) got a manicure and pedicure at the salon. A Mani for the Mommy-to-Be.
Britney Spears, for the second time this month, is in the hospital. TMZ reports that Britney was visited by her new psychiatrist last night and, determining the singer, already diagnosed with a bipolar disorder, was "a danger to herself and others", had her committed to the UCLA Medical Center. Once again, cops, paramedics, photographers - and Bobby Trendy - descended on Britney's home, but this time the singer was reportedly calm, cool and collected as she was taken to the hospital.
Earlier this morning, an L.A. County Superior Court judge signed a "5150" order, putting the singer on a three-day psychiatric hold at the UCLA Medical Center. During the 72 hour time period, Brit can't be forced to take any medicine against her will, so there is a "good possibility" that the hold will be extended to 14 days, where medication can then be administered, even if Britney refuses it. Meanwhile, there's an ongoing fight between Brit's parents and her "friend" Sam Lutfi as to who will be making medical decisions regarding the singer. This story's far from over!

Katherine Heigl managed to spend a few hours away from her newlywed love nest and spent the evening out in Hollywood with hubby Josh Kelley to celebrate the singer's 28th birthday. The pair began their night with dinner at uber-trendy Asian eatery Katsuya, which obviously doesn't have an indoor smoking section - Kat was spotted chain smoking cigarettes outside of the restaurant with friends. The couple then moved the celebration to S-Bar before taking a cab home. That Katherine is a wise lady to leave the party-time driving to someone else!

The heiress is playing actress this week, promoting her comedy "The Hottie and the Nottie" which opens in theaters next Friday. Paris' media tour brought her to the music network, where she made an appearance on the popular show "TRL." Why all the promotion in NY and not LA? Eva Longoria, looking pretty in pink, was the center of attention on the red carpet at Hollywood's ArcLight Theater last night, for the premiere of her ghostly comedy "Over Her Dead Body." Eva's "Desperate Housewives" co-stars Felicity Huffman, Brenda Strong and Nicollette Sheridan (who seemed more content to fool with beau Michael Bolton's nose) were in attendance to lend their support for the film, which marks Eva's big screen debut. Early reviews haven't been too favorable, so who knows if the film has a "ghost of a chance" at the box office?

Gwen Stefani, who we have just learned is expecting her second child with rocker Gavin Rossdale, arrived back at LAX yesterday and is already beginning to camouflage her baby bump, hiding it behind a jacket. The stylish singer, who is 12 weeks pregnant, is said to be excited about bringing her son Kingston a baby brother or sister - they don't know the gender of the bun in the oven as of yet. What's next for the Material Girl? Rumor has it that she's performing at the Super Bowl half-time show. She's so fit, she could probably play in the game!

Usually reserved actor Johnny Depp got a touch of "Sweeney Todd" in him yesterday and got into a confrontation with a photographer in LA. The actor was scouting possible movie locations in the city for his upcoming flick "Public Enemies," where Johnny plays gun-toting bank robber John Dillinger. He checked out Musso and Frank Grill and then left the area in an SUV. Feeling he was being followed, Depp ordered the driver to stop the car in the middle of the street and the angry actor got out of his vehicle to confront his paparazzi pursuer. I wouldn't mess with Johnny - the quiet ones can be the most dangerous!

As the tired traveler walked through the terminal, he shoved an annoying autograph seeker, who was also hounding Rumer Willis in the terminal (see the previous post!) The actor, feeling some un-mobster-like remorse later apologized, shook hands with the fan, and posed for a picture with him. This guy is lucky James wasn't "in character!"

Rumer Spreads to NYC.
At approximately 2:00pm at Daily grill in Studio City 90210 ex-star Brian Austin Green was dining with a male friend on the patio.
Our sources, who were seated at the next table, overheard an emotional Green ranting for over a hour about his troubled relationship with actress Megan Fox, who rocketed to stardom after last year's mega-hit blockbuster movie Transformers.
He began comparing Megan to the girl that he had been going out with before her who he'd broken up with for Fox, saying that Fox is behaving just like her. Apparently, the 21-year-old Transformer star is extremely set in her ways. The entire relationship was based on her terms, beginning with a "white board," upon which the pair would document the amount of time allotted to their relationship, family, and work. Green strove to maintain a fifty percent balance between time spent each other, and time spent apart. Fox, however, would sneak behind his back and erase planned dates with Green in order to have more time away from him. In fact, she would regularly cancel plans at the last moment, often by text. Throughout their turbulent relationship, Fox would threaten to get her lawyer involved in their disputes, while Green expressed his shock to his friend as he has never had a personal attorney in his "entire" life. He complained animatedly about how "unfair" their relationship was.
The obviously heart-broken Green went on to say that the young actress and budding star could never sit still and couldn't stand silence yet would moon in bed all day when they had a fight.
After ragging on Fox for close to an hour, the two men realized that the people at the table next to them might have overheard everything they said. Green seemed nervous and his friend asked the other diners if they had been eavesdropping because "that would be really bad." Looks like Fox has finally moved on!

R&B diva Mariah Carey, no diamond in the rough herself, got the star treatment at the Van Cleef and Arpels jewelry boutique on Beverly Hill's famed Rodeo Drive yesterday. The singer, clad in a short, black pencil skirt and a belted white blouse which offered an unobstructed view of her ample cleavage, sipped champagne as she browsed the cases of bejeweled trinkets, looking with great interest at the jeweler's butterfly designs. I wonder how much bling flew out of the store during this little spree?

Monday must have been "C-List Night" at LA hot spot Villa - where else would one see former "Fresh Prince" co-star Alfonso Ribeiro sharing the sidewalk with former boy band member, "Dancing with the Stars" contestant and TV Guide Channel correspondent Joey Fatone? And, keeping with the boy band theme, former New Kid on the Block Joey McIntyre was also spotted exiting the club last night. Since his band's not reuniting, he's got plenty of free time for clubbing!

After laying low a few weeks, Jessica Simpson is again the target of the wrath of Dallas Cowboys fans as she and Tony Romo were seen out on a date at LA's Key Club last night. The couple went to see a concert by glam rock parody band Metal Skool and had a little difficulty getting into their waiting SUV after the show. With the assistance of some burly bodyguards, the pair managed to escape. If their romance continues into the '08 season, Terrell Owens is going to need a Jessica voodoo doll!

Amy Adams, who was sadly missing from the list of best actress nominees at this year's Oscars, has moved on to a role that couldn't be further from the magical Disney princess she played in "Enchanted." In the drama "Doubt," currently filming in the Bronx, Amy plays a nun - which explains the garb and her clean-scrubbed face - who suspects a priest, played by Oscar nominee Philip Seymour Hoffman, of abusing a student. The film is based on the critically-acclaimed play and there's a good chance these two will be on Oscar's list next year!

The mom-to-be is on the promotional trail for her thriller, "The Eye," which opens on Friday. During her interview, Jessica hinted that she might know her baby is a boy or a girl, but wouldn't reveal that info to Dave. She also said that the early weeks of her pregnancy were "hairy" and she experienced "all day sickness" and was not happy that she was “expanding in places you never knew existed." No wonder she hasn't been smiling that much lately!

Patrick, co-owner of the Hyper Sport team, made his first career start in the Rolex 24 and he and his co-drivers finished 39th overall. A doctor on TV and a race car driver in real life? Patrick is a dream!

Kourtney either forgot her pants or thought that she could get away with wearing tights as leggings, Khloe sported a bandana that would make Bret Michaels green with envy and Kim showed up with a clean-scrubbed, makeup-free face (and without boyfriend Reggie Bush). It's nice this reality show family keeps it low-key when they travel!

Simon Cowell is the "Energizer Bunny" of talent scouts. With the seventh season of "American Idol" in full swing, Simon jetted over to Glasgow, Scotland yesterday to oversee the auditions for the second season of "Britain's Got Talent." After Simon crushes the dreams of thousands of performers in the UK, he'll be back to his judging duties in "AI" and getting ready for the third season of "America's Got Talent", which is executive produced by the noticeably slimmer Brit. It's easy to see how he could lose weight, he doesn't have a spare moment to snack!

The ceremony where actors honored the best performances of the year by their peers, brought a cavalcade of stars from some of TV's most popular shows to the red carpet at LA's Shrine Auditorium. The cast of HBO's "The Sopranos" were picked as the best in drama for their final season and both James Gandolfini and Edie Falco were singled out for their work. "30 Rock" stars Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin also took home awards for their roles on the hit comedy.

Actor/critically-acclaimed director (whoever thought they'd ever see that?) Ben Affleck may have given up the ciggies, but he can't get enough of the caffeine. Violet's dad was spotted at an LA Starbucks chatting on his cell phone and attending to his caffeine cravings with a big iced coffee. To Ben's credit, giving up the smokes hasn't resulted in a big weight gain, which happens to a lot of folks when they try to kick the habit. In fact, it looks like Ben's lost some weight - he can't even keep his pants up! Get the man a belt, stat!

With the writers' strike almost completely shutting down award season this year, the stars were more than happy to put on their red carpet best for last night's SAG Awards in LA. The big (literally) fashion story last night was Angelina Jolie, who in a multi-hued brown flowing vintage Hermes gown did little to help dispel rumors that she and Brad Pitt are expecting twins. She could be expecting quintuplets under all of that fabric! Bright colors were a popular choice for the ladies - some standouts include Sara Ramirez in magenta, Marcia Cross in teal and Allison Janney in periwinkle. Sequins and metallics worn by Debra Messing, Christina Applegate and Ellen Pompeo and red carpet favorite Phoebe Price brought some extra sparkle to the festivities. Hopefully, this isn't the last time the celebs can play "dress-up" this winter, the Oscars are less than a month away!

Joel and Ethan Coen took top honors for "No Country for Old Men," which is also up for the Best Picture at this year's Oscars. Well, it looks like Amy Winehouse is going to be staying in rehab for a while, at least. Amy's BFF, Kelly Osbourne and her father Mitch arrived at the London rehab facility where the soul songstress is currently drying out with some of her belongings, packed into two suitcases. The troubled singer checked herself into the facility on Thursday after the release of a grainy video showing her smoking crack. If that's not a wake-up call, I don't know what is!

Finally! Amy Winehouse has checked herself voluntarily into rehab - and she did it in style. The singer, accompanied by her father Mitch entered a London rehab facility today. Wearing a tight black miniskirt and heels, and back with her signature brunette beehive, Amy looks better than she has in quite some time. Pal Kelly Osbourne came by shortly after my checked in to visit and offer her support. We may actually get to see - and hear - a cleaned-up Amy at the Grammys, let's hope the treatment works!

Buzz is circulating that Angelina is going to be the proud mother of not one, but two bouncing babies and Brad is going to be a daddy twice over. Earlier this year, Angelina Jolie was seen visiting the office of Dr. Jason Rothbart, who treated her during her first pregnancy and delivered her daughter Shiloh in Namibia. It is believed that she was advised by Rothbart to put on some weight, or he would be unable to help her achieve a second pregnancy.
Angelina herself has been open about her desire to be pregnant. And now she has apparently been spotted at the OB GYN office of the doctor who helped Nicole Richie through her recent pregnancy. The consensus is that Brad and Angelina plan on moving to their recently purchased chateau in France where they hope to add two to their ever-expanding brood.

During his 40 minute speech, Will, clad in rugby gear, joked, "I'm so committed to my Irish roots that I intend to continue wearing this outfit upon my return to the US. I will also continue to drive on the left-hand side of the road. Will it be dangerous? Yes. Is it illegal? Highly. But that's just how committed I am."

Autopsy results on Heath Ledger, who died unexpectedly in New York yesterday, have come back inconclusive. Toxicology results will not be available for at least 10 days. Partially-filled bottles of prescription

Brit, seen here with an unidentified female friend, heads to a Starbucks with ciggies firmly in hand to get her caffeine and sugar fix. The pair then head to an Indian restaurant, with the usual throng of photographers in tow. Adnan had been out of town, attending a family funeral, but has told "Entertainment Tonight" that their relationship is "far from over." Heath Ledger's body was removed from his Soho apartment by the New York Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.The actor was found dead in his bed in one of his residences in Soho by his housekeeper at 3:35 PM ET on Tuesday. The 28-year-old actor has a two-year-old daughter with former fiancee Michelle Williams -- they separated in September, 2007. He plays the Joker in the upcoming Batman film, "The Dark Knight." An autopsy to determine the cause of death will be conducted later today.

Australian actor Heath Ledger, who received critical acclaim for his role in "Brokeback Mountain" was found dead in his SoHo apartment this afternoon. The actor, who recently completed work on the Batman sequel "The Dark Knight," was found unconscious in his bedroom by a housekeeper. A police spokesperson reports that foul play is not suspected in the actor's death and that pills were found in Ledger's bedroom. Ledger was 28 and is survived by his daughter with actress Michelle Williams, Matilda Rose.

Jon and the boys are heading back to the states after their down under adventure and cranking up their stateside tour on February 18 in Omaha. At least some 80s rockers have maintained their cool - I'm looking at you, Bret Michaels!

It's a "Nice Day" in Australia.
Who is the mystery woman who looks like a Jedi in training? It's "American Pie" star Mena Suvari, trying to obscure her face with the over-sized hood of her black jacket as she checks-in and chats on a cell phone at LAX. Like most of Hollywood, Mena - with boyfriend Simone Sestito - headed east to Utah to attend the Sundance Film Festival. I know there are a lot of cool, indie films at the fest, but is there also some sort of "Star Wars" tribute scheduled, starring Mena as Darth Vader?

Starlet in 'Da Hood.
Shouldn't Britney Spears "uber fan" and pop culture footnote Chris Crocker's 15 minutes of fame be up already? The "YouTube-lebrity" was more than happy to get a little attention from photographers, posing coyly as he made his way through LAX. To his credit, he certainly looks much more put-together than his idol. Brit would actually look cute with that hairdo. I do think we could all listen to his advice, however and LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE!

The exclusive Fred Segal Lounge is the place to be - if you're a swag-loving celeb - at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah. Even notoriously camera shy mom-to-be Jessica Alba forgot about covering her face to get in and see the latest hot products, and take them home of course! Woody Harrelson, Dennis Quaid and Rick Salomon braved the chilly temps to peruse the designer duds and beauty products. And, what swag party would be complete without celebutantes Nicky and Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian?

Looks like a visit to the LA Zoo was a bit too traumatic for this little lady! The kiddie is Sam Sheen, who's being comforted by papa Charlie Sheen. Charlie and fiancee Brooke Mueller took Sam and Charlie's other daughter with ex-wife Denise Richards, Lola, to the zoo for a day of fun yesterday, but little Sam must've seen something that scared her pretty good - maybe it was an episode of "Two and a Half Men!"

Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!.
Christina Ricci took advantage of the fact that LA's pretty devoid of celebs right now - they're all in Utah for the Sundance Film Festival - to do a little shopping. The actress has been spending quite a bit of time on Australia, with boyfriend Christopher "Kick" Gurry, whom she met while filming "Speed Racer," but needed a Borders and Bed Bath and Beyond fix, so she got her shop on in Los Angeles this past weekend. After shopping, Christina piled her purchases into her Mercedes - I wonder if she picked up any speedy driving techniques from her upcoming flick?

Christina Shops Solo.
Saturday night saw a major power outage at Park City, Utah's famed - and celebrity-stuffed - Sundance Film Festival; and we saw another Black-out on Main Street yesterday - comic actor and Tenacious D frontman Jack Black! Jack's blond hair is showing some major dark roots, but the look actually works for him, don't you think? Jack was just one of the multitude of stars in Utah for the fest - also spotted yesterday were Matthew Perry, Paul Giamatti, Tom Arnold and even Robert "Freddy Kreuger" Englund!

Another Black-out in Sundance.
Britney Spears and her "manager"/friend/handler Sam Lufti were out running errands together yesterday in LA. Brit stopped at a Petco, where she picked up a new friend - a bird. She needs another pet - because she did so well with her kids, right? She and Sam then popped by a local convenience store, with a flock of photographers in tow. Noticeably absent was paparazzo number one, Adnan Ghalib. Everyone needs a break from Brit once in a while though, don't you agree?

Danny and Sandy - 30 Years Later.
Adrian Grenier, sans his "Entourage" and clutching a warm jacket was spotted arriving in Salt Lake City for the Sundance Film Festival. The actor is attending the fest, where he has a small role in the flick "Adventures in Power," a comedy that introduces audiences to the exciting world of air drumming. Ironically enough, the film was written and directed by the real-life Ari Gold!

Adrian Travels Solo.
The stars swapped the warm temperatures of California for the snowy skies of Utah, as the 27th annual Sundance Film Festival got underway in Park City this weekend. A bundled-up Colin Farrell signed autographs for fans, as did 'Independence Day" star Bill Pullman. Other celebrities spotted on the second day of the festival, which runs until January 27, included Anthony Michael Hall, Eliza Dushku, Mary Kate Olson and Quentin Tarantino. It's good to know their warm clothes are being put to good use!

Hollywood Invades Utah.
Somebody overdid the fake bake, didn't they? Paris Hilton came out a little bit too orange after a faux tanning treatment a Beverly Hills spa yesterday. The celebutante, clad in a black track suit, finished off a day of shopping with a bit of pampering and artificial sunshine and escaped the cameras in a black SUV. She's surprisingly camera shy - maybe she realized she was over-glowing!

The way-back machine was set for 1985 on the Great White Way Thursday night, as some old friends stepped out on the red carpet for the premiere of David Mamet's play "November" at NYC's Ethel Barrymore Theater. "Brat Pack" stars Molly Ringwald and Andrew McCarthy shared the red carpet with former nerd Anthony Edwards and 80s TV faves Tom Wopat from "The Dukes of Hazzard" and Richard Kline, best known for his role as Larry on "Three's Company." What, couldn't ALF make it?
