March saw Angie's family expand with the adoption of 3-year-old son Pax Thien from Vietnam. (His name means ”peaceful sky.”) Number-one son Maddox came along to Ho Chi Minh City for the adoption ceremony, and Angelina insisted to the press that she wanted to be a stay-at-home mom: "I have four children and caring for them is the most important thing for me at the moment." Also important in March were Angelina's humanitarian efforts: $100,000 was sent from the Pitt-Jolie Foundation to help build the first modern medical facility in Duk County, Sudan.
