Philip Seymour Hoffman has played a drag queen, a porno PA and even
Truman Capote. Now he's tackling the role of a troubled priest in the
film "Doubt," currently filming in New York. Philip was nominated for
two Golden Globe awards today - a best actor nod for his role in the
dark comedy "The Savages" and a best supporting actor nomination for
"Charlie Wilson's War." "Doubt" could bring him a nomination next year;
the film adaptation of the acclaimed play may also bring kudos to
co-stars Meryl Streep and Amy Adams. Looking at the picture, PSH does
make a convincing priest, doesn't he? I'd confess my sins to him (hope he's got a lot of time for that!).
