The singer whose midsection does not fib, Shakira, and her hunky boyfriend Antonio del la Rua celebrated the holidays with a romantic Italian getaway. The pair did the "tourist thing" and hired a guide to take in all of the sights of the ancient city of Rome, including the Pantheon and the Forum ruins. Shakira took oodles of photos and took time out to admire the finely sculpted tush of one Italian sculpture. She's quite an authority on that topic - her tush is well-sculpted too!

Forget Britney and Lindsay - the original bad girl is back! Courtney Love and her entourage arrived at LAX on Saturday night after a visit to NYC which was notable for the theft - and subsequent return - of 2 pairs of Courtney's earrings worth around $100K. The singer, looking a little worse for wear, hid behind over-sized shades and tried to obscure her face from photographers as she made her way through the terminal. Is it just me, or does Courtney look like an older version of Mary Kate Olson nowadays? Take heed, MK - this could be you in about 20 years!

Vince Vaughn and some friends dined at the Farmers Market at LA's Grove shopping center on Saturday and the swinging actor couldn't resist having a little dessert, which he thoroughly enjoyed, although he kind of has that "I can't believe I ate the whole thing look" on his face here. Eat up, Vince, it's time for New Year's resolutions; maybe "trim down" should be on your list. Just a suggestion.

Angelina kicked off December at the Hatton-Mayweather fight in Las Vegas – rooting for the loser, Hatton. Ms. Jolie herself was a big winner in year-end accolades, including Entertainment Weekly's '#33 Smartest Person in Hollywood,' Empire's 'Sexiest Movie Star,' US's 'Couple of the Year' and Reuters' 'Best Celebrity Humanitarian.'  Her role in 'A Mighty Heart' earned Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild nominations. But the best rewards are found at home: Angelina's Christmas was a family holiday with Brad and the kids in New Orleans.

Can Angelina top her 2007 superstar pace? A potential Oscar nod, a projected new addition to the brood, a fresh slate of movie releases, and a war-torn Third World that needs a glamorous and articulate spokesmodel all forecast 2008 as another Jolie year for the ages.

A still very pregnant Toni Collette and her hubby Dave Galafassi take their two pups along for a day at the beach in Toni's native Australia. The pair look relaxed as they strolled along the shore. Dave ran with the pooches while Toni gazed introspectively at the waves. The 35-year-old actress' first child is due any day now, I wonder if she's got a "sixth sense" to let her know when the blessed event will occur!

Sienna Miller celebrated birthday number 26 Friday night with a little help from some famous friends. Kate Moss, Keira Knightley and Sienna's main squeeze, Rhys Ifans were among the guests at the intimate get-together at a North London pub. Sienna sure looks like she got dressed in the dark - she should know that you can't mix animal prints like that! Her friends should have given her a gift certificate to a clothing store instead of booze!

Model Gisele Bundchen was spotted in New York's West Village yesterday. She had lunch with a friend and chatted on the phone. Maybe she was giving boyfriend Tom Brady a pep talk before his New England Patriots faced off against the New York Giants. She later attended the game at Giants Stadium. Gisele must not be a bad luck charm for Tom's team (a la Jessica Simpson) as the Pats won.

The best of November came as Angelina attended both the London and Los Angeles premieres of the epic “Beowulf,” starring an animated Angelina as a demonic seductress - casting at its finest! Angelina continued to combine home and work, bringing son Pax (who celebrated birthday number four in November) to the set of “The Changeling.” The month also marked the DVD release of “A Mighty Heart" and Angelina's Independent Spirit Award nomination for her role as Marianne Pearl. Angelina again stepped into her role as Goodwill Ambassador to the UNHCR, writing an essay in The Economist discussing still-turbulent Darfur.

Jennifer Love Hewitt goes shopping - for groceries, not designer duds - at the Toluca Market in California. The actress, casually dressed in a white oxford and jeans, made a quick stop and picked up a few items, while fiance RossMcCall waited in the car. Who knew that celebrities actually cook their own food? I thought they just rotated between Il Sole, The Ivy and Mr. Chow!

Hot new, celeb-friendly nightspot Goa is the place to be in LA - it's even star-packed on a Thursday night. Paris and Nicky Hilton, fresh from their Hawaiian vacation, made an appearance as did former Mr. J-Lo, Cris Judd. Actors Shemar Moore ("Criminal Minds") and Duane Martin ("All of Us") and comedian David Spade, looking slightly disheveled, were also seen getting their groove on!

British singer Lily Allen, looking glam in a black sequined dress and silver shoes, was on hand for the countdown leading to the annual winter sale at legendary London department store Harrods. Also on hand for the festivities was store owner Mohamed Al Fayed and two adorable puppies, who definitely brought a "smile" to the mom-to-be's face. You know Lily, Tiffany did a lot of mall appearances, and look what's become of her!

Simon Cowell is still living it up in Barbados with girlfriend Teri Seymour and friends including director Richard Winner (best known for the "Death Wish" series). The break looks like it's done Simon a lot of good - he'll return to judging duties on "American Idol" looking tan and fit. Teri looks quite at home with that baby, could there be a little Cowell in the near future? It's highly unlikely, as Simon rarely slows down - I can't believe he's been on vacation for more than a weekend!

October opened with several sightings of Angelina escorting Maddox to and from his NYC school. Then the working mom switched coasts and became highly visible on the 1920s Los Angeles set of “The Changeling.”  A sizzling trailer for the actress's new thriller “Wanted” spread Angie glee across the Internet, and HBO's stock became a little more interesting on news that Angie and Brad were jointly producing a show for the cable network. The month ended with Angelina bestowing honors at the International Women’s Media Foundation Awards in Beverly Hills.

Violet Affleck, who was recently voted the cutest celebrity baby in a Parade.com poll (over Suri Cruise and Shiloh Jolie-Pitt) is already making sure she looks good for the photographers. Mommy Jennifer Garner braved the rain to take her little girl, fashionably dressed as always, to My Gym NYC, a facility just for the little tykes, for a quick workout. I'm sure it doesn't take that much work to look so cute!

It's not all shopping and eating out for celeb best friends Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale - although they're young, they have to maintain their shapely figures. And, since it's always best to have a workout buddy, the pair hit a Los Angeles gym to feel the burn. The gals were quite camera shy and tried to hide from photographers as they exited the gym (ironically enough, Vanessa's tee reads "Love Stinks!") I guess they live by the saying "don't ever let 'em see ya sweat!"

"Desperate Housewife" Nicollette Sheridan is still enjoying her tropical holiday getaway in St. Bart's. Nic dipped her toes in the waves and tossed around a football with fiance Michael Bolton, while sporting yet another bikini/sarong combo. I don't think she packed anything else! She looks like she's got a pretty good arm - no one can accuse her of throwing like a girl!
 

Lindsay Lohan was spotted leaving JFK airport in her trademark black tights. The actress is off to Italy, where she is being honored for her contribution to cinema at the Capri Hollywood Film Festival. Festival organizers recognize her "talent as a performing artist" and call her "an icon in the world of entertainment." They obviously haven't seen "I Know Who Killed Me." Hey...Capri...isn't that where Capri pants come from? Get yourself a few pairs while you're there, Linds!

Amy Winehouse was spotted engaged in her post-prison visit ritual, stopping by a London convenience store to pick up sweets and a newspaper. She may have seen a story about her in print - the troubled singer has been summoned to appear in a Norwegian court to appeal a fine for marijuana possession. She, Blake and a third person were found with the drug in their hotel room back in October, while Amy was touring Norway. Can this girl make it one whole week without a new problem?

Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher faced a "wonderwall" of snow as he, fiancee Nicole Appleton and sons Lennon and Gene enjoyed a white Christmas in beautiful Switzerland. The rock n' roll bad boy told reporters he had no intentions of skiing. His plans included "looking like James Bond with the kids - just throwing snowballs and s**t." These photographs show why - he looks quite unsteady on his skiis, and the instructor has his hands full. Don't give up your day job, Liam!

Miley Cyrus, aka Hannah Montana, seems to be the last young star untouched by scandal, and we sure hope she stays that way. She was mobbed by fans and photographers as she exited New York's Trump Hotel. The 15-year-old actress and singer was in town for her sold-out "Best of Both Worlds Tour," which is this year's in-demand concert, with tickets being sold on resale web sites for as much as $1,000 apiece. We can only hope she doesn't go the way of Britney!

Behold Liam McDermott, the son of Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott. Liam and the family, including Dean's son Jack (from a previous marriage) were the center of attention as they paraded down a Beverly Hills street, peeking into a few shops. Tori's kid already has that star quality - he's dressed to the nines (love the boots) and seems even a little jaded in the presence of the press. Despite the "attitude", he's a real cutie!

Ellen DeGeneres and long-time gal pal Portia de Rossi were seen at LA's fave celeb eatery Il Sole, dining with friends last night. They don't look like 2 gals who eat leftovers. Ellen fought off the chill with a knit cap, jeans and peacoat, while Portia kept warm with a slightly more stylish coat, scarf and corduroys. I wonder if they went to a dance club after dinner? That Ellen is quite the hoofer, you know! 

September shone with Angelina's dazzling appearance in $2 million worth of Bulgari jewels at the Venice Film Festival premiere of Brad’s “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.” A daily circus in this back-to-school month was dropping Maddox at the Lycee Francais de New York -- eventually the school asked students and parents to respect the family’s privacy. Angie wrapped up September on a panel discussion at the Clinton Global Summit, focusing on educating children in war-torn Darfur and Iraq.
